Hi, I’m Miranda.

About

I build stable systems — at home and in life.

I’m a networking student focused on practical infrastructure, home network security, and resilient system design. I care about clarity, security, and building things that simply work.

In addition to technical work, I serve in a leadership role with the Junior League of Seattle, supporting facilities planning, project coordination, and organizational operations.

Outside of the lab, I restore an A-frame home, design intentional spaces, and plant trees for the long term — projects that reflect my approach to systems: thoughtful, practical, and built to last.

Currently completing my degree and expanding into network security, systems administration, and infrastructure.

Focus: Networking + Security
Strength: Systems Administration

About

I like systems that are steady, secure, and thoughtfully built — whether it’s a network, a server, or a small A-frame home that needs good decisions and follow-through.

Applying for a BAS at Whatcom Community College while expanding into network security and systems administration. I enjoy hands-on labs, troubleshooting, and turning messy problems into clean configurations.

Outside of class, I’m restoring my home and building a food forest — trees, understory plants, and long-term planning. It’s the same mindset: do it right, keep it resilient, and let it grow.

Current interests: firewalls, segmentation, Windows/Linux administration, and practical home network security.
